och högteknologisk konst. - med referenser till Europa och övriga världen |
| Electrohype har mottagit finansiering för att genomföra en nordisk kartläggning av konstnärer, institutioner och andra resurser inom fältet datorbaserad och högteknologisk konst. Projektet vill även inkludera vissa europeisk, utanför Norden, samt icke europeiska element som vi anser viktiga för utvecklingen av konstgenren i Norden. |
| Projektets mål är att sammanställa en guide for de som vill veta mera om ny konst skapad med ny teknologi. Samtidigt skall den ge utövare och aktörer inom detta fält en bättre översikt. Vi skall inte samla traditionell information så som statistik över ekonomi och medlemmar etc. men å andra sidan samla material som är användbart för orientering och bildande av nätverk. Guiden vill också presentera exempel på konstverk och konstnärspresentationer för att ge en bild av denne typen konst för dem är nya inför genren. |
| Guiden vill bli publicerad i två olika versioner, en elektronisk som kommer att bli uppdaterad och en pappersvariant som endast vill bli publicerad vid ett tillfälle. Som stöd till de båda varianter kommer det finnas en webbsida med info och länkar som relaterar till projektet. |
| Undersökningen kommer att utföras via resor, mail kontakt och intervjuer. Vårt första steg är att samla information för att sedan kontakta eller besöka konstnärer och institutioner för mera information. |

| Atlas of Nordic computer based and high technological
art |
| Electrohype has received funding to perform a Nordic survey on artists, institutions and other resources in the field of computer based and high technological art. The project will also include some European, outside the Nordic countries, and overseas elements that are important to the development of this art genre in the Nordic countries. |
| The goal of the project is to compile a guide for those who want to learn more about new art made with new technology and help people working in this field to get a better overview of other resources. We will not gather traditional statistics regarding funding, members etc but on the other hand gather info that are useful for orientation and networking. We will also include examples on art works and artist presentations to help draw a picture of the genre for those who are new to it. |
| This guide will be published in two versions, one electronic that will be updated, and one paper version that will be published only once. There will also be a support web site including links and info updates for both versions. |
| The survey will be carried out by travels, mail contact and interviews. We will start gathering information and then select artists and institutions to visit or interview. |
