Nordic Interactive Art Galley visade under fyra dagar tjugo konstverk av tillsammans nitton konstnärer. Vi visade arbeten som varierade från webb baserade konstverk till större fysiska installationer och performencekonst. NIC Art gallery var en del av evenemanget Nordic Interactive Conference, som förutom konstutställningen bestod av en konferens och ett expo kring temat ny teknologi och interaktivitet. Det var cirka 500 deltagare på konferensdelen och konstutställningen hade drygt 1200 besökare.

Performence på LAB
Som en extra session till NIC Art Galley arrangerade vi också en serie performences med den Brittiska gruppen Artificial Paradises på LAB
på Vesterbrogade i Köpenhamn. Under dessa tre kvällar kom totalt 150 besökare. Här kan du

Vinnare av future Visionary Challenge
Janna Lindsjö och Fredrik Ramsten, som båda arbetar i Malmö, tog hem priset för bästa projekt inom interakiv teknologi med projektet Gigant, som visades parallellt både i NIC Art Gallery och på NIC Expo. Verket startade som ett konstprojekt med fysiska mobila och sociala spelmoment och var ursprungligen initierat av Electrohype i sammarbete med Malmö Kommun och Interaktiva Institutet i Malmö. NIC 2001 Art Gallery

During four days Nordic Interactive Art Gallery showed twenty art-pieces made by all in all nineteen different artists. We showed a wide range of works, from webb-based art projects to larger physical installations and performances. NIC Art Gallery was a part of the event Nordic Interactive Conference in Copenhagen, a conference and expo concerning new technology and interactivity. Around 500 participated at the conferences and the art exhibition hade more than 1200 visitors.

Performance at LAB

Winner of the future Visionary Challenge
Janna Lindsjö and Fredrik Ramsten, both working in Malmö, won the price for the best project in the field of interactive technology with their work Gigant. The work was showed paralel in both NIC Art Gallery and NIC Expo. Gigant started as a art-project with physical mobile and social game structures and was initiated by Electrohype in collaboration with Malmö Kommun and the Interactive institute in Malmö.
